Tom was an E4 Carolinas organizer and served as Board Chair 2014 – 15 . In 2017 he retire from AREVA where he served as President & CEO of Federal Services, LLC. In this role, he was responsible for the group’s business operations overseeing the P/L, development of new innovative products and services, customer relationships, personnel development and overall project delivery for AREVA’s Federal Operations.
Tom has more than 34 years of power industry experience in various technical, engineering, and executive positions.
He has served recently as a Key Account Executive, Sr. Vice President of Reactors & Services Business Group, and Sr. Vice President of AREVA’s Engineering & Projects organization. Through all of these roles, Tom has demonstrated his expertise and knowledge in design, analysis, licensing, outage services, and construction of nuclear generation stations. His technical knowledge was complemented by his propensity for business – guiding and fostering innovation ideas through his project management and business management/development roles.
Tom holds BS degrees in Civil Engineering and Architecture from the University of Illinois. He is also a founding Board member for the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC) at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte.
