E4 Carolinas is the trade association for Carolina energy companies and organizations. We are a
non-profit trade association organized and governed by our members to increase their value and success. Any company or organization having a Carolina energy interest may be a member. E4 Carolinas is supported by annual member dues and program fees. It is best to think of E4 Carolinas as a consulting firm engaged by its 140+ members to annually produce programs, services and events which provide members more value collectively than if produced by each individually. E4 Carolinas is the only organization promoting and connecting all Carolina energy companies and organizations.

At E4 Carolinas’ Annual Meeting members elect the Board of Directors which determines program areas and hires and maintains a staff. Task Forces, co-chaired by one or more Board of Director members, determine the programs, services and events produced for members. Any employee of a member company or organization may join any Task Force and access any program, service or event (user fees or capacity restrictions may apply). To increase members’ professional network exposure, non-members are invited to attend certain events at a non-member fee and as space is available.

Members also realize value through these various services delivered by staff:

  • E4 Carolinas’ staff advises members on business development opportunity. Each week we introduce members to new customers, suppliers or collaborators from the 1,000+ Carolina energy company/organization directory E4 Carolinas maintains. Contact E4 Carolinas’ staff for a business development consultation.
  • Members may connect directly via the password-protected, member-only E4 Carolinas Member Network. Hundreds of E4 Carolinas members’ employees have registered, providing their name, title, company and contact information. Employees of any E4 Carolinas member may join by completing the Network membership form via THIS LINK.
  • Members may gain increased visibility by placement on regional and national conference programs, media referrals and featuring their News and Events in the E4 Carolinas Energy News Weekly. Contact E4 Carolinas’ staff to advise us of your news and what “visibility” your company or organization desires.
  • E4 Carolinas receives inquiries regarding energy products, services or business collaborators and refers these opportunities to members. File this referral form with E4 Carolinas’ staff to ensure we know the proper contact in your company or organization to whom to refer inquiries and opportunities.
  • Find where to learn of new business opportunities and connect with other energy professionals. Register for a free subscription to the E4 Carolinas Energy News Weekly and visit our Events page.
  • Via periodic email, the Energy News Weekly or E4 Carolinas website, members are offered discounts to attend certain conferences and events and are offered product and service discounts by other members.

Members also realize value by their employees becoming actively engaged in one or more of the six E4 Carolinas program areas described below. The best value is realized when engagement is an extension of work a member’s employee would normally undertake, saving the member time and expense through the efficiency of collaboration
