Energy Technology Series

The Energy Technology Series features Carolina energy companies producing nationally or globablly impactful technologies. The series typically meets at UNC Charlotte’s Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC) and features a free 4:30 pm seminar open to energy technologist, researchers, faculty, staff and students. A 6:30 pm invitation-only dinner is produced for 24 senior energy executives to be briefed on the featured technology and become better acquainted with other executives developing and commercializing energy technology.

Blockchain Working Groups

Blockchain Technology is rapidly gaining attention due to its ability to automate processes and manage a shared, immutable, and auditable transaction record. It has game-changing applications for industries which have complex, multi-party transactions and require the processing and coordination of large data sets. Working groups meet in Charlotte and the Research Triangle to understanding the basics, follow trends and explore commercial applications.
