Ally Barbier
Ally is currently a senior at the University of South Carolina. She studies Spanish and Global Studies with a focus in Sustainability and Development and a minor in Business Administration. She will graduate in May of 2021 and wants to pursue a career in Environmental Policy and Corporate Sustainability.
Anjali Arora
Anjali Arora is an Energy Intern at E4 Carolinas who works on data manipulation and visualization to showcase the various energy sectors and companies in the Carolinas. Anjali is a senior at Duke University where she is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and completing a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is the president of Duke’s Engineering World Health chapter, an active member of the Duke Undergraduate Energy Club, and a teaching assistant for a materials science course. Anjali was previously a Renewable Energy Intern at Dominion Energy and will be returning to their Renewable Energy group after she graduates. She is originally from Edison, New Jersey (home of the perfected light bulb), where she was first exposed to the world of energy while working at the Thomas Edison museum.

Sofia Nieto
Sofia Nieto is an intern working on E4Carolinas’ team that is building a model to assess the adequacy of EV charging infrastructure along North Carolina hurricane evacuation routes. She is a recent graduate from Duke University where she earned a degree in Computer Science along with minors in Biology and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Sofia has a wide range of past business, consulting, and non-profit experience. She is also particularly interested in leveraging data science to investigate environmental concerns. In the past, she worked on a research team that used machine learning models to classify changes in landcover and understand large scale ecosystem dynamics on the North Carolina coastline.
