Carolinas Energy Trade Network (CETNET)

The Carolinas is recognized globally as a “one-stop shopping” energy trade destination. Companies, energy ministries and trade offices from the Pacific Rim, Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas come to the Carolinas to seek assistance with their energy development needs. Professionals throughout the world, in the U.S. and the Carolinas with an energy trade interest may join the Carolinas Energy Trade Network (CETNET). Network Members create more value and success for themselves and their organization by learning of import, export and foreign direct investment opportunities open to their organizations and the governmental support for their trade plans.

Requirements – Professionals with an interest in energy trade.

Cost – Registration and payment to attend at least one CETNET meeting during a 12 month period. Employees of E4 Carolinas member companies pay a discounted meeting registration fee. Prices may vary dependent on conference venue and content. Meeting attendance is not required to maintain ongoing Network membership, but registration and payment once during a 12 month period is.

Network Website – Connect with other members through the Network Member Directory. Search the Directory by name, company, company type, industry sector or location to find energy trade professionals or prospective partners with whom you can collaborate, receive peer advice or seek referrals. Use the Carolinas Energy Trade Resource Directory to learn of governmental support of your energy trade. Place events on the Network Calendar and check it to find information on networking events. On the Resources page post the studies, reports, articles, data and websites you find most valuable and see those posted by other Network Members.

Network Meetings – Conferences or seminars are periodically produced to inform and connect members and foster relationships which will result in new and sustained export, import and foreign direct investment. One such meeting is the October 4 – 6 Energizing Africa through Partnerships conference in Charlotte produced by E4 Carolinas. Members are also invited to Energy, Inc. in May, E4 Carolinas’ Annual Meeting and dinner in the fall and many other events throughout the year.
