Regional Energy Hardware Innovation Acceleration Grant Project

The primary objective of this grant is to create a regional energy hardware cluster innovation and accelerator ecosystem to enhance commercialization opportunities for U.S. energy startups and new ventures originating within an established company. E4 Carolinas will build a regional energy hardware community to support the Joules Accelerator in accelerating new ventures’ innovative energy hardware technologies. The Savannah River National Laboratory will provide access to the National Laboratory network, connecting Accelerator ventures with new technologies, support, and workspace for Accelerator ventures and Cluster members. E4 Carolinas will collaborate with the other USDOE EPIC awardees to share best practices and innovation resources.
