E4 Carolinas’ mission is to enable the expansion of the Carolinas energy economy. Through the Economic Development Task Force, we actively support state, regional and local economic development organizations and their business attraction efforts relating to energy, specifically within our four cluster focus areas Energy Storage, Alternative Fuel Transportation, Advanced Nuclear, and the Electric Grid, PowerGrid.
The efforts of the Economic Development Task Force are supported by the Research Task Force, which is currently engaged in four research and planning grant projects funded by the US Department of Energy and the US Department of Commerce. Learn more about these projects here.
Contact one of our Task Force Co-chair to join the Economic Development Task Force and create energy trade and economic development opportunities with other E4 Carolinas members. The Task Force meets quarterly on the first Monday of February, May, August and November.
