Workforce Development Task Force

This task force is charged with assessing member talent development needs, curriculum for and student interest in energy industry jobs, and facilitates skilled trades training and workplace learning. They also serve as an advisory council for the content of the E4Carolinas leadership development programs; the virtual Energy Leaders Academy, the “in-person” Emerging Leaders and Executive Leaders programs, which return in 2022, and the two-day, virtual Energy Boot Camp.

Leadership Programs

Since 2009, E4 Carolinas has produced leadership programs for energy managers and executives. These have come to be recognized regionally as a superior means of developing energy leaders. With over 500 alumni and with organizations such as AECOM, Framatome, Duke Energy, the Electric Power Research Institute, Fluor, SCANA, Siemens, Savannah River National Lab, and Westinghouse each graduating ten or more managers and executives; the energy industry makes a strong endorsement of the programs’ quality and value.

Learn about E4 Carolinas’ virtual Energy Leaders Academy. Enrollment is now open with the first session of the Fall 2021 program starting August 3rd.

E4 Carolinas’ three “in person” leadership development programs will return in 2022.

Participants visit with industry executives and tour energy infrastructure and construction to broaden their energy industry knowledge. E4 Carolinas collaborates with leadership development partner, LeadAdvantage, to develop participant’s personal leadership skills through a program unique in the industry. Participants develop a professional network among themselves and the 500+ alumni in the Carolinas Energy Leadership Alumni Network.
